Sprinklr’s Annual Sales Kick Off (ASKO) 2020.

ASKO brought together Sprinklr’s international sales teams and executives for a week long event in Orlando Florida. The event featured keynotes, workshops and activities which were also streamed live globally.

As a member of the creative team my role included collaborating to develop the event’s branding from concept to final product. I created walk on videos and title cards for the main stage keynotes, studio photography for signage and keynote presentation templates. The project involved months of international collaboration with both UK and US creative teams and ended with us flying to Florida to implement our creative vision for the event.

With ASKO 2020 Sprinklr wanted to inspire its teams to take risks and be bold, so the theme for the event was ‘Fearless’. Our goal was to deconstruct the Sprinklr branding and create something sharp and striking, something that would infuse their existing brand and with an energetic and boldness. In addition to this we drew upon images and quotes from inspiring historical figures and moments to create branding that was ambitious, authentic and grounded in humanity.

Keynote Walk Ons

For the keynote each executive would have an opening video montage of ‘fearless’ moments, people, and events which would need to smoothly transition into a title card and then into their presentations. Working under the supervision of Sprinklr’s Multimedia Director I was tasked with finding a way to bring the established art style and design language to life for these walk ons.

I developed a title card animation consisting of rigid abstract shapes folding onto each other rapidly and dynamically, with momentary openings to reveal parts of the video montages. These openings allowed every executive’s title card to feel distinct and connected to their respective themes. Over several iterations the sequence evolved and the final result is something that  is energetic yet organic in its unique movement. The final touch was a masked title layer with an inverted version of the main animation to bring the entire title sequence together cohesively.

Video Editing

In addition to creating the executive title cards for the keynotes my role also included editing the opening montages. I sourced footage and edited a variety of videos including the walks ons for Sprinklr’s Chief Financial Officer, Operating Officer and Technology Officer. The short videos featured a diverse collection of clips showcasing fearless moments from parasport champions defying the impossible to the first space walk on the International Space Station. Each montage was tailored specifically with executive’s feedback while delivering on theme of fearlessness.

Photography, On Site Branding and Presentations.

ASKO is an event that focused on inspiring and exemplifying Sprinklr’s employees; one of the ways the event did this is by highlighting certain Sprinklr ‘Champions’ through posters and displays around the event. This was a joint global effort by the creative team to photograph the selected champions around the world in locations that included the United Kingdom, United States, India and more. It was important that all the images were unified in style, editing and formatting. Working virtually with the New York team I organised and photographed the UK champions, sourcing the studio equipment, makeup artist and organising the shoot. In addition I edited both the UK and Indian shots, which were then put into poster form in the US.

As well as being part of the development of the art style, signage and multi media for the event, I was also one of two designers who created the presentation template for the keynotes. Over a number of iterations working with a member of the US design team and overseen by Sprinklr’s lead designer, we created a customisable template which included title, bullet, quote, data and information pages. The template conformed with our vision for ASKO, featuring abstract shapes and brand deconstruction to create something subtle yet striking.

While in Florida I worked with the contracted stage, light and media team who were on location to operate the large screens. I helped format all the on stage media and make sure it ran as intended before the main event. Seeing the keynotes kick off smoothly, and successfully streamed live globally was an incredible moment for me and my colleagues at Sprinklr. ASKO is one of my career highlights; it was incredibly humbling as a designer to see months of work and collaboration come together and be part of such an incredibly talented creative team for this global event.

VPOD At Clerkenwell Design Week 2023

As the lead designer for Vpod, a London-based, workplace tech company, I had the opportunity to create unique branding and marketing for Vpod’s presence at Clerkenwell Design Week 2023. The annual event sees multiple companies in London host talks, events and showcases in design. Drawing inspiration from the iconic retro Bauhaus style, I crafted a visual language that seamlessly merged the ideas of modern technology with the timeless aesthetics of the past, using colourful gradients and a pinkish beige to evoke the feeling of summer, each element, evoked a sense of both nostalgia and forward-thinking, capturing the essence of the event and our company's vision. The event was our first after rebranding Vpod in 2022 and was a unique opportunity for me as a designer to push our brand aesthetic into a bold and bright direction while retaining the elements that are core to the brand. I lead the visual side of the project, working with a junior designer and web developer to implement our vision for the event.
