Animation, Motion Graphics & 3D Design

Years ago, I taught myself After Effects to become a motion designer because of my love of cartoons and animation - to this day I am continually learning new animation techniques. Over the years I’ve continued to explore new mediums and tools to tell stories, most recently I challenged myself to learn 3D design and animation, learning to use Blender. I then applied that most recently to my work at Vpod Solutions, creating an animated promotion for their product Vgreet, I created a whole 3D scene, featuring the product in office space which was then animated. For me motion graphics and animation bring every element of digital storytelling to life. At Sprinklr, my role on the Customer Experience Centre (CXC) department involved designing and animating unique GIFs for Facebook and Twitter. These GIFs were designed to be personal responses to individuals, meaning they had to be specifically created for each post within a short amount of time to stay relevant. This created a unique challenge, with projects needing to be designed, animated and uploaded in a maximum of three hours. It was an incredible opportunity to learn new ways to be efficient within animation/motion graphics. I learnt skills that I’ve since applied to longer and more complex animations.
