The Longest Nights.
The sky captured over the nights and weeks of a global pandemic and the loneliest year. During isolation I found comfort in the stars, knowing no matter how far apart we all are, we still share the same cosmic light.
“You don’t have to be broken,
To see there’s magic in a shooting star.
When you’re lost and you’re lonesome,
Let the Heavens show you who you are.
Look up and you’ll know,
That you are, already home,
Already home.”
Already Home
“Every night I sleep walk,
Every sleep I night crawl,
Every time I feel the fire burning,
Underneath my eyes.”
“I've been walking around,
Stealing some time,
Thinking about my death.
And all I know is that I'm not ready to go just yet,
If I'm not somebody who knows their place in the world, just yet.
If he could be the right kind of guy in the moonlight,
She could be the right kind of girl in the sun.
If I could be the right kind of guy for the starlight,
I could learn to change why I feel alone”
